Dealfind refuses to refund voucher not honored by vendor

Vendor is no longer doing that work/honoring Dealfind vouchers. Voucher is supposed to never expire, when confronted by them, they advised me that they could only give me a $5 credit on a FUTURE $15 order, since it was past 240 days of original order (even though they make a big point that vouchers never expire). I am not giving them ONE cent additional money after this whole mess. The voucher was for a junk cleanout that I knew I was doing in the future and after I got set, I made attempted to contact the vendor and was told they don't honor those items anymore. He seemed to imply he never got any money from them and I had to get my refund from Dealfind

Never retrieved Mdse...

I ordered the mdse during the second week of May; it was supposed to be gift. I have still not been sent the mdse...gotten nothing but "bull ***" and lies. Contacted them at three times asking when to expect mdse and each time empty promises. Last email tonight, I demanded refund. Most likely I can kiss the money good bye. I have never seen such misleading advertising. I should have known if there was no telephone contact numbers on the website that they were than less than a reputable company Save your money and chose one of the other online services like GroupOn or LivingSocial. Dealfinders are crooks!!!!

BEWARE DealFind/TeamBuy doesn't pay their Merchants

As a merchant, I have worked with Groupon several times with much success. This year, I thought I would target a different group and decided to work with TeamBuy. My customer Service Rep was very helpful when it came to getting my deal put together - she called me three days in a row. When it came time to receive my first payment (it's split into three payments 40%, 20%, 40%), I didn't receive anything. I e-mailed and called my rep several times to enquire as to when I would be paid. When I finally got a response, it was standard lines like "I'll have accounting check into it". When I further pushed, I got "I have escalated it to the next level". Finally I received my first payment 1 month later. My second payment was short. I enquired several times and have received one e-mail stating "I'll send an e-mail to accounting and let you know what I find out". My third payment is now late and I have still not received the shortfall from my second payment. I fear I won't receive my final payment at all (40% of the total sales). I have called customer service several times to complain and have even threatened to tell customers we cannot honour their TeamBuy as we have not been paid but they don't care. You can't speak to anyone in charge, all they do is take a message which is then ignored. When my rep was trying to sell me on her site, she called me several times. Now that I have a problem, she is nowhere to be found. As a merchant, I will never deal with TeamBuy/DealFind again. I caution anyone purchasing a deal with them - keep in mind they don't seem to like to pay their partners so if you are having trouble redeeming your deal, that may be why. If you see a deal you like, contact the merchant directly and buy from them - that way you know it's legit and the merchant is actually getting paid and will honour the deal.

Hi, Agree with you, but i suggest, set up protest in front of the Head office and call CBC, CP24 to cover that, that will pay to stop the embarrassment

Guest

Dealfind has changed his terms now to pay an merchant not before they make an sale of minimum $ 500 . They do not honor their own agreements and do not paid us as written in our agreement.

We are turning their customers away and telling them the truth , while we cc them on our numerous emails to them informing them of their refund as well we inquire to our 500 inquiries now 501 times to know " where the payments are and why the deal is still available while we are refusing to accept their new policy. Nobody does ever answered our Emails what we had send to them. Keeping in mind this is now going on since January and they still have us up on their site. Basically they just give a "*" about merchants they only want their customers money and they still in business.

Making small companies looking bad when they cannot provide a free service to their customers.

Good thing most customers coming back to us after they get their refund..!!! Do not create a feature with them or buy from them you mind not get the item or service " because they do not pay the companies "

Guest

Same thing happend to us, we had deal menu/pedi deal and they never paid. :( . Ditto on before and after the deal correspondence with the rep.

Not doing business with them ever.

Guest

They had only partial paid ( 1st of 3 ) us for the service after this we have not seem any payments . No refunds had been send to us or no information if there where some . No live person to speak to and you only get an answer * have submitted an email to account if I hear back I will inform you about their respond * whatever this is now 3 months since I wait for their answer.

Sorry for the customers but free service I cannot provide as well.

Guest

Happen to our business as well as to other business as well.

We hope the customers from them drive them nuts fro, receiving a refund.

Guest

lets get a class action lawsuit happening. These guys need to be punished!

Never receive my order/ CS real bad

I purchased from Dealfind in April, waited till Mid May to email to ask when will it arrive. Reply saying that product was shipped. Email again after a week, no answer. Email 2 more times and asked for refund since not received. Finally was given a tracking which indicated shipped on May 26. Keep on tracking and it only said left China. Call customer service and replied was rude, very rude. Asked for refund, the answer was NO. Asked to talk to manager, answer was "I am the only one you can talk to." Very frustrated with this Dealfind. Will never buy from them again.

Terrible experience!!! Customer service - LIARS! STAY AWAY!!!

This company is absolutely doesn't deserve to be on market!!! Cut them off! Bought a jacket for a $32 in the middle of October 2013, didn't receive it in time (dead-line was in November). Hardly contacted them, I was promised by their representatives for a several times that they will refund my money. THEY NEVER EVER DID IT! My Bank couldn't resolve this issue for me either cause Dealfind uses the account and routing numbers for payments so bank has no rights to make a refund. Very sly!!! Finally got the item in the end of January 2014... What a surprise! Awful quality, wrong size, poor packaging!! Just threw it out! Piece of GARBAGE! Waste of money! Waste of nerves! I am very mad because of this experience. AVOID! STAY AWAY PEOPLE!

Dealfind.com website and Calabogie Lodge Resort partnership for unfair business practice

I bought a voucher from Dealfind.com website for Calabogie Lodge Resort. In the voucher they say that we should attend an "orientation and tour of the resort". I am used to participate in such activity, as I was in many other holidays where a guide present s the resort and attractions. But, when trying to book the stay, I found that if we miss attending the “presentation” Calabogie will charge my credit card with more than 200 dollars. This condition of participation never appears in the written information available about the voucher in the sources available. I believe that all the conditions linked to a certain promotion should be officially available for the client so you can choose having all information before buying. More, I wrote 3 emails to Calabogie trying to get a written information about the costly “punishment” of not attending what proves to be an experimental group of publicity but they never wrote back the answer. I tried also to get my money back from Dealfind but they are rude and happy to still your money. So, I suddenly felt in a trap! I was so frustrated and angry!!! If you are among the buyers of these vouchers there are some more things to know : 1.If you have small baby as we do, they say in the voucher that you must provide a caregiver so both parents are able to attend the presentation. It comes that you have to bring nanny with you, so you can end paying even more for your stay in the resort than if buying the usual accommodation 2.Calabogie Lodge Resort answers after days to your emails, and Dealfind never answers. The Calabogie Resort phone provided in the voucher doesn’t work sometimes and they don’t have a person to take the phone calls when the other is left. All these are disrespectful to the client. You have to be very insistent to find them. The whole process of trying to book the stay and clarify the situation started on 8th December and finished on 19th of December when I received the last email from Calabogie Lodge Resort avoiding my direct questions about the amount of money they charge for not attending the presentation. 3.You drive few hours to Calabogie and arrive maybe in the middle of the day hoping that you will spend a whole peaceful second day with your family. But next day you have to cook your breakfast, and then attend a 1 ½ h of what proves to be a forced publicity for buying a vacation ownership as far as I understood. That starts with 10 in the morning, so it steals half of your day. So, in my opinion, this so-called “promotion” (!?) is a very poor marketing strategy from Calabogie . At least in the case of my family, they succeeded in pushing us away, we will never be interested even to see Calabogie Lodge Resort and we will always say what happened to us! It is quite a pity that Calabogie hides behind a tourism offer a very disappointing and aggressive publicity, hoping that they will have long term clients for that! In the case of both companies, this voucher represents a misleading advertising , a very deceptive marketing practice and an unfair business practice. After I understood I am in a trap, I read hundred reviews about Dealfind and I saw the movie on Marketplace showing hundred of people tricked by this website. So pity I didn’t read them before, and I wander if Calabogie management read them while entering the partnership with this company. I wonder also if these people can still from our pockets having the law in their hands, because the way they behave looks like they have no doubt. I will try to find that, and even if I didn’t loose a huge amount of money I really think that these small sums of money they get fatten their pockets, and these kind of situations should never exist, at least in Canada. They base on our lack of time and energy for trying to find the legal answers to these situations.

I have paid for services that I will not receive. and DealFind totally does not care ...

A real Scam. STAY AWAY. Bought a $49 voucher through them and the merchant did not give me the services they were supposed to (Merchant is called AfterGlo FYI) and Dealfind said they would only reimburse me for $10. the customer rep I spoke with (named Karen) did not care at all that I was not happy. and also lacked a lot of common sense and tact in dealing with a client. She basically told me, take it or leave it and I can't do anything that you are not happy or that you lost money on this, deal with it. DealFind people, if you read this: FYI I will right now remove myself from your site and stop being your client. you just lost ANOTHER client. Good luck as you fail ...

Dealfind Lawman Auto Shine Dallas Texas

Merchant - named Harold, 817-412-****, owner of Lawman Auto Shine will not schedule for auto clean service after 3 attempts. Please demand and make him comply or return refund. Voucher states never expires. As per our conversation I have sent an inquiry to the vendor on your behalf advising them that the voucher needs to be honored as stated. Please allow us a few days to follow up with them to determine what their concern is with redeeming your ticket. We will advise shortly.

Refused refunds for unused vouchers

I purchased several vouchers from Dealfind. I always used the ones expiring soon to avoid losing them. I had several that stated 'no expiration date' and saved those for later. When I tried to book several of these vouchers, half the businesses were out of business and the other half refused to honor the vouchers because they claimed they were never paid by Dealfind! When I tried getting refunds, I was denied. I was told that the real expiry was one year and I should have known that?!? These guys are crooks and ripoff artists. Everyone should stay clear of them. A class action lawsuit would be a great idea to make them do what's right.

I had a similar experience. The vouchers said No Expiration Date but when I tried to use them, the merchants refused service claiming they had never been paid by DealFind.

DealFind, in turn, refused refunds because it was a year since I bought the vouchers. They were unmoved by the fact that the vouchers were not supposed to expire.

Dealfind Not Only Scams You But Will Threaten You With Illegal Access To Your Credit!!!!!!

In April 2011, I had purchased 2 vouchers to Deerfoot Napa Autopro for $39 each. They were for a package that included an exterior wash, interior and trunk vacuum, window cleaning, seats, floors, door jambs, mirrors, dash and tires cleaned, plus a 50 point comprehensive inspection, oil change for up to 5 litres, lube and filter change. In June 2011, I used one of these vouchers and ended up spending an additional $533.03 on repairs. I was happy with the service I received and wrote an article to that effect! Being that this voucher had no expiration date, I waited until recently to use the other voucher. When I called to book the appointment, I was told that Deerfoot Napa Autopro did not exist anymore but it was now Barlow Napa Autopro. Being that they were still part of the Napa Autopro company, I asked if I could use my voucher there and the gentleman I spoke with said no. I then contacted Dealfind via e-mail and explained to them my situation. They got back to me within a few hours and told me the best they could offer me was a promo code for $5 off a minimum purchase of $15 on their TeamBuy.ca website (with an expiry date of July 4, 2013). I was very upset by this! I had wanted a refund as I was not able to receive the service that I paid for! I called their toll free number and asked to speak with a manager. The lady I spoke with gave me a very hard time and gave me a bit of a runaround. She told me that the response I had received was from a manager so that was their final decision. I asked to speak to this person. After about 15 to 20 minutes on hold, I was put through to her. Sarah, the manager I spoke with and the lady who replied to my original e-mail, was not only rude but threatened me! First, she told me that it was my responsibility to keep updated on their refund policy! When I explained that the refund policy was different at the time I purchased the voucher, she did not care. I told her that I would call my credit card company and file a fraud charge. She told me if I did that, she would put a note with my credit card company that would "prevent me from being able to purchase anything online again". She insinuated that she would access my credit somehow and ruin my credit! I told her that was illegal and if she did that, I would pursue legal action. Then, she backtracked and said that it was me who "misunderstood" what she was saying. Unbeknownst to her, I had her on speakerphone and this threat was heard by two other people! I eventually got her to admit that she was not legally allowed to access my credit card information without my consent, however, I was still uncomfortable that she had access to this information! Frustrated, I hung up on her and looked online to see if others had issues with Dealfind as well. I found a website with numerous complaints about similar issues!

Scam Artists - Customers and Merchants stay clear!

I am a loyal customer who purchases several vouchers. It made sense to me to use the ones expiring the soonest to avoid losing them. I had several that I purchased that clearly state 'no expiration date'. When I tried to book appointments, half the businesses were no longer operating, the other half said they are not honoring the vouchers as Dealfind refused to pay them. I requested refunds and was refused. I tried several times and supposedly spoke to a Manager - bit it was the person who picked up the call in the first place?!? I am telling everyone about how crooked and ruthless they are - stay away! Other sites such as Wagjag and Living Social have been good to me so far. Look them up on BBB - they have a terrible rating. Also saw the Marketplace show on them, and it was spot on. I think everyone should consider a class action lawsuit against them to stop them from ripping people off!
